Area Sales Manager Southern UK - Re-Listed 18 January 2018

We are actively seeking an external Sales Person to build our sales in the South of England and Wales. This will be a home based role and ideally you will be based within easy reach of M3, M4 or M5 Motorways. As part of the role you will be expected to travel to meet with customers in your sales area as well as to the head office in Basingstoke. Some overseas travel may be required from time to time.

You will have some field sales experience, ideally with a background in selling in at least one of the following areas: board level embedded systems, semiconductors, high reliability components, RF components or Test Systems to either tier 1 defence and aerospace customers or telecommunication companies. Experience in related sales roles will also be considered. You will be creating new opportunities and selling products across our line card from discrete semiconductors through to RF Test Equipment. You will be part of a small team dedicated to driving growth in the business.

You will have a full driving licence (preferably clean) and be able to use modern office computing packages effectively. It is important that you include a covering letter with your CV, detailing why you feel you are suitable for this position and highlighting all relevant experience.

In return we'll pay a competitive salary with profit related bonus and vehicle allowance. BUPA health care is available after a qualifying period.

  • Experience in a B2B sales role - minimum 2 years (industry experience is desirable).
  • Familiar with the use of CRM tools
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Experience of negotiating and tendering for business
  • Ability to build rapport and gain trust, in a professional manner
